Do you have a future marine biologist in the family? If you do, join us as we host a week exploring the food web of Coastal Georgia all the way from our microscopic life to the top predators that live in our waters. Geared towards kids from ages 10-14*, our naturalists will take your future scientists out on adventures that will provide hands-on, interactive lessons with the coast while parents and caregivers can either participate or sneak off to have their own adventures on the island. Activities will include surf fishing, seining, shell collecting, plankton sampling, and more (weather-depending). Be prepared for heat and insect activity - our intrepid adventurers will spend as much time as we can in the field and on the water.
*There is a minimum age restriction of 10 years old, but if you have an older teen who is interested, please feel free to contact the office for more information to see if they would enjoy these activities as well.
ALL INCLUSIVE PACKAGE $3,725++ / 5 Nights
In addition to participation in the event for two guests, this package includes lodging, three meals daily prepared by our chefs, soft drinks, all Island activities including guided Naturalist excursions and use of recreational gear as well as boat transfers to and from the island. All rates are for double occupancy in The Hunting Lodge, River Lodge, Cedar House or Helen House. The Tom House and Michael Cottage rates are higher. An additional adult in the same room is $275 per night and children under 12 are $175 per night. A 19% service charge plus applicable taxes will be added to the above rates.
