All-inclusive Package $2,550 / 3 nights!
In addition to participation in the nature photography workshop for one person, this package includes lodging, three meals daily prepared by our chefs, soft drinks, all Island activities including guided Naturalist excursions and use of recreation gear as well as boat transfers to and from the island. All rates are for double occupancy in The Hunting Lodge, River Lodge, Cedar House or Helen House. The Tom House and Michael Cottage rates are higher. An additional adult in the same room is $275 per night and children under 12 are $175 per night. A 19% service charge plus applicable taxes will be added to the above rates. Both guests in a room may participate in the workshop, or just one. A second participant is an additional $75. If you do not participate in the workshop, you are welcome to join our naturalists on other guided activities such as: birding, hiking, beachcombing, and truck safaris.
Packing List
Recommended Packing:
- Loose, quick dry clothing, layers, and a rain jacket
- Cameras and lenses. Bring your favorite lenses but mainly telephoto for birds and wide for landscapes. If you have a teleconverter, bring it.
- Memory cards
- Battery chargers
- Camera instruction manual to help you change settings; every camera is different.
- Tripod or monopod: your choice. The instructor doesn’t use one, but they can help holding a heavy camera/lens combo for long periods. We have a few tripods that can be shared.
- Consider a camera bag rain cover and camera rain cover (just in case)
- Consider a pocket notebook for taking notes in the field
- Optional: laptop computer, card reader, and thumb drive for sharing your photos if you’d like to participate in group critiques
**Little St. Simons will have tall waterproof boots in all sizes, sunscreen, and bug spray available. No need to bring these items.
